The Planning Commission for Ventura presented to the public and the Ventura City Council recently their recommendation for approval of the final draft of the controversial Victoria Avenue Corridor Plan.

Lilly Okamura is the associate planner with the Community Development Department and she presented a comprehensive  plan of frontage improvements so Victoria Avenue will be a prestigious corridor for visitors and locals. This plan has been 3 years in the making of public workshops. The corridor extends  from the 101 to the 126 and will a provide beautiful, pedestrian environment.
